The Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) is pleased to announce funding for the Summer JumpStart Program. These funds will allow programs to offer additional, flexible support to children, families, and staff to help advance Kindergarten readiness, including the social and emotional development of young children.  

Summer JumpStart is available for Tribal and Pueblo Programs currently enrolled NM PreK students who will be entering Kindergarten in the 2022-2023 school year.

JumpStart awards will only be funded for the number of slots that a program currently serves through NM PreK.

Completed applications must be emailed  to Summer.JumpStart@state.nm.us by no later than Monday, May 2, 2022 by 3 p.m. MDST/MST. The emails will have the date and time of receipt.
